I am in Malacca to attend VeryImportantProgrammer Contest. VIP is a PHP Programming Competition brought to you by K-Ekonomi Malacca and Art In Software Sdn. Bhd.
This event has good opportunity to expose programming culture to everyone that involved. The event will be held on 23rd - 24th August 2008. On 23rd (Sat), interested talks will be given related to Information Technology starting from 11 a.m till 4.30 p.m.
I will be speaking about “How to take online applications, offline” at this event and also one of judges for the programming contest. If you are coming to this event, don’t forget to say Hi to me.

Yeah. You heard me right. Apple iTunes Store is available for Malaysia. You could choose the country “Malaysia” at the iTunes store. I registered an account with my malaysian credit card, and it works. So finally a iTunes Store for Malaysia. But there’s a limit. We can buy iTunes apps but not music collection. But it’s for with me.
And Yes, you also can upgrade your iPod Touch to the 2.0 Firmware. I’ve successfully upgraded my iPod Touch and all features are working as expected. What i like the most about this new firmware is its ability to install apps just like iPhone. I tried install Facebooks apps and you know what, it’s cool. It has one important feature, facebook chat which is you can’t get from Facebook Website for iPod/iPhone.
Adsense For Feeds is a program that display ads in Feedburner feeds. The new option Adsense Feeds is available in your adsense account. You can setup new ads and choose if you want image ads, its frequency, the position, the colors or even a channel to track ads performance.

Wordpress 2.16.1 has been released. It is fully recommended to upgrade to latest stable version.
London’s Telegraph newspaper reports that some of the fireworks during Beijing Olympic 2008 opening ceremony were actually computer generated. It happens because of fears over live filming, it has emerged.
I hope they will not fake their show at PICC as they will perform this coming saturday night. Ouch!

Fireworks Competition is coming tonight. So that, I gathered some useful tips on how to shoot fireworks using DSLR.
The most watched event of 2007 is back. The Ministry of Tourism will again host the Malaysia International Fireworks Competition in Putrajaya. Renowned world-class Fireworks Teams from around the world will compete for the ‘Golden Merdeka Trophy’. The Ministry has announced that there will not be any Tickets sold this year at the Event. The event is Free for All! Speakers will be installed at the public viewing locations, enabling the spectators to enjoy the ‘Musical Firework Displays’. Entrance to PICC is Free.

It’s hard to find all the unread messages in Gmail’s inbox when they’re not in the first page of messages. While we wait for Google to add support for buttoned filters or at least a built-in “unread” shortcut, currently the only way to view all the unread messages in inbox is to search for “in:unread“.
Finally arrived in KL at 10.30AM today. I attended the 2nd Sabahan Bloggers Gathering 2008 last night.
The story are being posted by bloggers who are attended this excellent event. Some of them are, Gaman, Perry, Fara, Olie, Edgar, Osindak, Amie, Jacq, Chuky and more on facebook. Thumbs up to the organizers. It was a successful event for the sabahan community.
